This blog contains graphic spiritual material!
Satisfaction comes in allowing Jesus in your life. Jesus offers the best intimate relationship. When you accept Christ, you are filled with the Spirit of God(Holy Spirit). The Spirit of God convicts you when you do wrong and gives understanding when you read the Holy Bible.
This doesnt mean everything becomes rosy and nothing bad will happen. What will happen is you become an open season for the Satan. He is hoppin mad you received Christ. You are now a threat to the devil because Christ and Christ's Spirit lives in you. So are you ready to impact the world? Once you receive Christ, you will be a light for Christ in this dark world.
If you need more information about becoming a Christian, here is a website I recommend. Greg Laurie is a great guy and is equiped to send you resources free on becoming a believer in Jesus Christ.

| Your type is known as the Champion type, which is part of the larger group called idealists. Nothing occurs that does not have some deep and ethical significance in your eyes. As a romantic partner, you need to talk about what is going on in your life. You are a strong supporter for your partner's efforts to grow and change and be happy. You need to feel that same support from your partner. You need to hear your partner tell you how much you mean to them and would love if they did thoughtful spontaneous things to demonstrate it. Blogger, myspace, xanga: meeting people.
I don't consider myself a blog expert. Yet I have enjoyed finding people in the blogs who I know in like six degrees of separation.(doesnt happen all the time.) Just being able to talk to people across the nation is pretty cool. So I will continue to blog away.
For those of you new to me. I am not totally conservative or totally liberal. I do stand on certain issues. For example, I am pro-life, if a man and woman make the "CHOICE" to have sex, then they take responsibilities of the outcomes of sexual intercourse.(In the instance of rape, punish the bastard, not the baby.) Now many would assume because I am pro-life, I am a Republican. Not so. I am a Liberal Populist. I do believe in unions and workers rights. I support progressive causes. With the gay marriage issue, I would conceed to civil unions, but not marriage.
Yes, I am a Christian. Yet, I believe in a person choice of deciding to accept the free gift of salvation. If you force your faith on someone, it muddies the "free will" of a person to love God. God did not want people to love him if forced. True love does not exist if a person is forced to love God.
If you want to talk with me over a chat line or at a coffee shop to ask me questions about my world view, I am more than happy to enjoy an intellectual disscussion.

Judgment from Above

Photo from www.cnn.com
Currently on the U.S. Supreme Court bench, there is two openings. Will John Roberts become the newest Supreme Court Justice? While many are concerned about the appointment of a new Justice due to the pressing issue of Roe v. Wade, there is a more important issue to be judged. Will you go to Heaven after you die?
Will you allow Jesus to take your sins punishable by eternal death upon him? Or will you continue to be master of your own ship and live without him? There is coming a time when you will not be able to make the final decision of you life beyond this life. When you stand before God, will you be found guilty or innocent. Romans 3:23 states, "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." The only way of being made innocent is not through the "Tom Thumb" approach. This approach is telling God "what a good boy(girl) you are.." by your own works. In Romans 3:24 it states, "...being JUSTIFIED freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Jesus is the only way you can be found innocent. If you do not use him as your lawyer, you are just wasting your time. God knows every small detail about you. So you can blow and go all you desire, God sees right through the bull you spit out of your mouth.
The great Supreme Court with God as the one and only Judge will declare you guilty or innocent. Now you must make the choice now and quit putting the most important issue on the Court log: Is Jesus Or Is Jesus not your personal Savior?

Jesus is all you need.
I am keeping this week's blog short but sweet.
Nothing in the world can satisfy your internal cravings. Jesus Christ is the only person who can satisfy your life.( Both in this life and after you die.) A intimate relationship with Jesus is more rewarding than what the world offers.

Sharing Jesus through serving

Pastor Dan Anderson reads from God's Word at Godstock 05'
The City of Refuge Ministries shares the message of Jesus. Jesus offers us a free gift of everlasting life. To receive this gift, you must acknowledge you are a evil person. (Because we are evil, there is nothing we can do earn our way into Heaven.) The only way to get to Heaven is to confess you are messed up and believe Jesus died, was buried, and came back from the dead to pay for your evilness. Turn from your evilness and let Jesus be in control of your life. Sure, it does seem hard to let go and let God have control over your life.
There is nothing you can do on your own decision making process to get you into Heaven. The key to the door of Heaven is Jesus. No other key will work and open the door.
I do admit not everything becomes easy when you receive Jesus in your heart. In fact, the Devil and the world are mad you made the decision. The world wants you in bondage to their temporary and failed plan of misery. Only Jesus can provide the satisfaction of filling the holes in your heart and soul.

Christian and political affiliation
Billy Graham has a love for Jesus and for people to accept Jesus as their savior. In addition to reading the Bible, some of the first Christian books I have read were written by Mr. Graham. I remember reading transcripts of Billy Graham saying he was a Democrat on an episode of Larry King Live.
Many American Christians claim if you are a Christian, you must be, support and vote Republican. Nowhere in the Bible does it say, "If thou followest me, you must deny yourself and become Republican."
I agree on certain issues within the Republican party, yet I agree with certain issues within the Democrat party.
Those who are Republican and claim to be Christian have very potty-mouths when speaking about those who are not Republican or conservative. When a conservative makes a mistake or sins, they say God forgives them, but when a liberal backslides, conservatives pray God's wrath and fire to burn on those individuals. This reminds me of the Pharasiees(Biblical Republicans) who brought a woman caught in sex outside of marriage. They were ready to put her to death.
Jesus says, "Those who are without sin, cast the first stone." He then proceeded to write in the sand. One by one, those self-righeous men left. The story continues with Jesus offering to the woman grace, forgiveness, and a warning, "Go and sin no more."
I told this to a few of my conservative friends and they were not happy about my comparision of Republicans to Pharaisees. Yet, I was also showing how you could compare the Democrats to the Saducees.(denying spritual aspects and the resurrection.)
What my main jest in all of this is your faith in Jesus Christ should not be rooted in a politcal party. Political Parties are man created institutions. Thus, they are not perfect.
When it comes time to vote for a particular candidate, I see what Christ-like qualities the candidates possess. Both parties have Christ-like qualities. Both parties have very man-centered qualities. You pray to the Lord for guidence for each candidate so they may serve with God first in their lives. Then you go to the voting booth and choose the candidate best suit to lead in the position.
I like what author Jim Wallis has repeated in books and news interviews, "God is not a Democrat or a Republican." God is above all man made insititutions and is in control of world events.

Serving Jesus by Serving the Homeless

Todd McInturf / The Detroit News
The more I want to be like Jesus, the more doors open for me to love and serve those in need. I take to heart when Jesus said "If you give a cup of cold water to the least of these, you have done it unto me." Think about it....Everytime I spend in visiting, praying, and give a meal to a person in need, I have actually done it to Jesus.
I am satisfied spiritually, mentally, and physically when I have opportunity to serve both Jesus and those who He asks me to love.(i.e. Everybody!). I am more blessed when I have opportunities to do the very same interactions Jesus had with people he came in contact. http://www.detnews.com/2004/macomb/0411/02/f05-316587.htm

Can you say unemployed?
After the glamour and glitz of getting your college degree, you wake up and still find yourself either unemployed or flipping burgers at Mcwhatever. There are too many college graduates and not enough positions to fill for each new crop of graduates pouring out of universities across the nation.
You can only pray and trust in God. He has everything under control, even though you are unable to see it via your narrow eyes(or mind if you are visually imparied.) The book of Jeremiah 29:11 gives the reader the hope of knowing God has plans to give you a hope and a future. It may not been seen till you are with Him in eterenity.
